About Me
Amanda Benjamin is a clinical social worker who specializes in creating healing spaces for Black and Brown folks. Since 2016, she has committed herself to supporting Black and Brown youth and activists, guided by the principles of gentleness, intentionality, and honesty. She believes in the healing power of nature and community and is dedicated to Black liberation, both personally and collectively. Her approach to healing work is mindfulness-based, client-centered and liberation-focused. She has worked extensively in school settings and in private practice as a therapist, and she thrives in cultivating authentic, interconnected group dynamics. She finds it to be a true honor to hold space and support others in navigating their own healing journeys.
